Porsche Panamera Launched in India in 3 Variants
Porsche India has bought its most awaited car Porsche Panamera on 1st of October on Indian roads. The Porsche Panamera is launched in Mumbai first at the Porsche Centre at a press event, by its official importer for India, Precision Cars India.
The first four door sedan by the company is available in three different variants S, 4S and the Turbo. The Panamera S and 4S are powered by a 395bhp 4.8-litre V8 engine and the Turbo variant has 493bhp 4.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine.
Porsche has maintained its trademark styling with this four-seater car. The unmistakable headlamp shape and arrangement, along with the typical 911-style curvaceous tail is all present on this car. The car though has front-engine configuration similar to their Cayenne SUV.
Porsche has plans of developing the hybrid variant of the Porsche Panamera which will be powered with a 3.6-litre V6 engine and a 34kW electric motor which powers the Cayenne hybrid. The car once produced may reach to India also.
Packed with a wide range of innovative technologies including five world firsts in motoring, the Porsche Panamera combines the looks of a coupe, the opulence of a luxury car, four-seater space and Porsche's distinctive driving dynamics.
The local provider, Precision Cars India is already booked for 13 Panamera and is expecting 50 total units to be sold over the next year. The car is one of the best performance cars with maximum fuel efficiency.
A top company official said that the Precision Cars, the official importer of Porsche in India, is planning to increase its dealer network from the current two to six during the next year.
Precision Cars' Managing Director Rod Wallace told reporters, "We are expanding our dealer network and want to have a presence in six cities in 2010." He added, "We have signed contracts with dealers in Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai. These cities would have their local Porsche centres in this calendar year".
The Porsche Panamera S will be available in India with a price tag of Rs. 14,436,000 (ex-showroom, India except Delhi, includes VAT and import duties) and Porsche Panamera 4S and Porsche Panamera Turbo for Rs. 14,983,000 (ex-showroom, India except Delhi, includes VAT and import duties) and Rs. 20,558,000 (ex-showroom, India except Delhi, includes VAT and import duties) respectively.

Fujifilm Launches 3D Camera
Fujifilm has announced the launch of its new imaging technology, the 'FinePix REAL 3D System'. The company claims it to be the world's first 3D (three dimensional) digital imaging system that offers users to view 3D images with naked eye without the need for wearing special 3D glasses.
The 3D system consists of FinePix REAL 3D W1, the 3D camera; FinePix REAL 3D V1, an 8 inch viewer on which spectacular 3D images can be displayed; and 3D Print, Fujifilm's high precision production technology that enables users to print 3D images.
How it Works: Fujifilm Explains
To achieve a 3D image, it is necessary to flawlessly layer together 2 images, so 2 Fujinon lenses, known for their high resolution & exquisite rendering, are installed. A 3x optical zoom, deemed difficult to achieve in 3D photography because of the precision required to align 2 lenses, has also been achieved. Moreover, the engine of the camera - RP (Real Photo) Processor 3D, another photo technology developed by Fujifilm over the years - synchronizes data passed to it by the two lenses and two CCD sensors, to determine shooting conditions such as focus, brightness and tonality to instantaneously blend this information into a single symmetrical image. The 2.8-inch 3D/2D LCD monitor features Fujifilm's own LCD panel.
In the 'Individual Shutter 3D Shooting' mode, the camera takes two shots, one after the other, and saves a single 3D image in the camera manually. The 3D image generated can be edited and this is particularly useful for landscape photography where a 3D image is difficult to achieve, or conversely, macro shots, where the 3D effect can be too strong.
In the 'Interval 3D Shooting' mode, it is possible to take two shots from different viewpoints continuously while the photographer is moving, for example by train, airplane, or car, etc., to achieve 3D images of long-distance views. By using the 'Parallax Control (3D Tuning Function)', the 3D images can be manually adjusted for a clear and sharper 3D view.

'Googlle': Google Logo Spelled Wrong To Celebrate 11th Anniversary (PHOTOS)
**See photos below** Google is celebrating its 11th anniversary today and decided to commemorate the event with a doodle that references the number 11 by adding another "l", to create "Googlle." (See photo below) As you can see from a screen shot of Google Trends, the search engine's new doodle seems to have created a lot of confusion. Two of the top ten queries on Google trends were "why does Google have two 'l's" and "why is Google spelled wrong?". Maybe "Goog11e" would have created less of a stir. For Google's 10th birthday, they had this logo (see photo below): According to the Guardian, there's some confusion about the exact date of Google's birthday:

GM Chevrolet Cruze Coming On 12th October!
GM Chevrolet will launch its assault at the upper midsize segment with the all new Cruze which is coming to the Indian market on 12th October.
The car will initially come with a 2.0 Litre common rail turbodiesel engine with 150 bhp of power and 330 nm of torque…. easily the most powerful engine in its class, even more than the petrol powered rivals! The 1.8 Litre petrol 140 bhp petrol and automatic transmission will follow soon after.
The new Chevrolet Cruze is expected to be priced in the Rs 12-14 Lakhs bracket which place it head on with the more established japanese rivals like Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and Skoda Laura.

Land Rover LRX 2-Door Confirmed For Production!!
Remember the stunning Range Rover LRX concept from the 2008 edition of the Detroit motor show? Land Rover has now confirmed the production of the 2-Door LRX which will debut next year and go on sale in 2011.
The coupe’ish SUV will wear a Range Rover badge hinting that it would be marketed as a premium vehicle, more expensive than the cheapest and smallest Land Rover, the Freelander 2. The company has not given out any details on the powertrain credentials but say that “it will be the smallest, lightest and the most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced”
Reports also suggest that it would share the undepinnings with the latest Freelander 2 and will come with a transverse mounted engine driving the front wheels or an optional all-wheel-drive hybrid.
The rendering released with this announcement suggests that the looks will remains unchanged save for the door handles on the production version and a slightly reprofiled front fascia. The details will start emerging once it nears its scheduled launch for the year 2010.

SMALL RANGE ROVER CONFIRMED FOR PRODUCTION.
Gaydon, Warwickshire, 24 September 2009 – Land Rover has confirmed today that a production version of its exciting LRX concept car will be built. The new car will debut next year and join the Range Rover line-up in 2011.
Designed and engineered at Land Rover’s state of the art Gaydon facility, the new Range Rover will be the smallest, lightest and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced.
The new car will be built at the multi award-winning plant in Halewood, on Merseyside, subject to quality and productivity agreements and will be sold in over 100 countries around the world.
Phil Popham, managing director of Land Rover said: “The production of a small Range Rover model is excellent news for our employees, dealers and customers. It is a demonstration of our commitment to investing for the future, to continue to deliver relevant vehicles for our customers, with the outstanding breadth of capability for which we are world-renowned.”
“Feedback from our customer research also fully supports our belief that a production version of the LRX Concept would further raise the desirability of our brand and absolutely meet their expectations.” Phil added.
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover design director said “The new vehicle will be a natural extension to the Range Rover line-up, complementing the existing models and helping to define a new segment. It will be true to the concept and have many recognisable Range Rover design cues including the signature clamshell bonnet, the floating roof and the solid ‘wheel-at-each-corner’ stance.”

Nokia 3G Netbook coming soon!!!
Nokia the leader in mobile phone market is soon bringing out a netbook called the Nokia Booklet 3G. Nokia calls it a mini-laptop but it is still in the netbook category as it is powered by Intel's low energy Atom processor. It is set to be released on this early September, 2009.
The Booklet 3G is a 10.1 inch netbook which has great connectivity options including 3G broadband, Wifi, A-GPS, Bluetooth. It has a SIM card slot which supports hot-swappable functionality. It is powered by Intel's1.6 GigaHertz Atom processor and will come with a storage space of 120 GigaBytes.
The mini-laptop weighs 1.25 Kilograms and will cost around US$800 which is quite heavy in terms of the price. And super bulky if you consider using this as a phone.

An Introduction to Computer Forensics
When you hear of computer forensics, the first thing that pops to mind might be a Crime Scene Investigator, pulling the plastic sheet off of a computer and inspecting for signs of a struggle. Nobody really ever talked about forensics in daily life until they started making those scientifically accurate primetime cop shows, so of course, simple word association generally leads us to forensic sciences being “Something cops do, right?”
Incidentally, the science behind computer forensics really isn’t much different from the science between crime scene forensics. In both instances, the forensics team or expert is looking for a trail of evidence. In either case, the investigator looks at what has happened, determines how it happened, and from that, deducts who might be responsible.
The major difference between the two is that, while an investigator on the scene of a robbery or a violent crime is looking for physical evidence, the computer forensics investigator is looking for digital evidence.
Interestingly, where physical evidence can often be misleading, confusing, ambiguous, and difficult to put together without the help of witness statements, digital evidence tends to present itself in a much more direct manner.
A computer keeps logs of pretty much everything that has been done with it. For example, besides your browser history, there’s also your temporary internet folder, where information from the web is stored on your computer. So, say an employee is watching Youtube all day when they’re supposed to be working. Even if they’re smart enough to clear the browser history, the temporary internet files may still hold the evidence that will earn them a warning.
That’s only a very simple example, of course. Computer forensics addresses everything from computer crime to employee misconduct, to such mundane tasks as figuring out why your virus scanner isn’t working.
The point is that everything you do on a computer leaves a mark. Deleting a file from your hard drive is not same thing as deleting all the evidence that it was ever there. Just as every room in your house holds some DNA evidence, be it a hair, saliva, or a toenail clipping, no matter how well you vacuum and shampoo your carpets, there will be some evidence that this is your home. The same goes with computers. You can’t do anything on a computer without a computer expert being able to figure out exactly what you’ve been up to.
One issue that many find confusing with regards to computer forensics … how legal is it, really?
This depends on the context. Here’s all you need to know if you’re considering hiring a computer forensics team, but aren’t sure if you can:
If you suspect an employee of breaking company policy or even breaking the law with a computer that belongs to the company, you do have the right to take a look at the computer they’ve been working any time you like.
It gets a little trickier when an employee is working on their own computer. This isn’t a dead end, but it may be a little trickier. Luckily, you don’t always have to look at their computer to find evidence of what they’ve done on their computer. In any case, go ahead and call your forensics people, and they should be able to advise you on how far you can go to gather the evidence you need in order to take action.
Really, computer forensics is simply the art of finding a trail of evidence on computers, simple as that. You never know when you’ll need such services, so it’s a good idea to keep them in mind in case you ever do.

Programs for your USB flash disk
This is, like the name suggests a MegaPack of USB programs and standalone applications. Included is a program launcher called Asuite. Most or all of these programs. Asuite has been programmed with a complete list of all apps, and the ability to launch them from the Asuite start menu. You can also run any of these directly.
Installation:

Run "UNZIP USB APPS HERE.bat" (takes a few minutes)
Plug in USB Drive
Copy all files that were unzipped to the root of your USB drive.
