O2 launching Samsung Galaxy i7500 Android “next week”

Samsung’s debut Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy i7500, will launch next week exclusively on the O2 network, according to reports. Read on for more info.

We’ve known all about the Samsung Galaxy i7500 for a while (see it face off against the HTC Hero in a stat clashhere), but if Register Hardware’s info is correct, it could be with us in the flesh very soon. The website unearthed the launch date by consulting staff at O2 stores, who then checked the stock system.

There’s still no word on the price, but on the spec front we already know that the Samsung Galaxy i7500 will feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 8GB of internal storage and a 5MP camera.
